Hedgehog Feeding Tips

If you hear peculiar snorts and snuffling in your garden through the night, the chances are that you are being visited by a hedgehog. Their little black droppings will confirm this. These delightful creatures dine on harmful pests, such as slugs, and are well worth encouraging.

To make the hedgehogs stay in your garden you'll need to provide them with food, water and shelter as well as a quiet area, where they can rest undisturbed. An uncultivated area of the garden is ideal. Do not feed milk to hedgehogs! The best thing to feed them is cat or dog food.
